Rug Braiding Classes(New Dates for 2022)

We have the opportunity to take a rug braiding class with Marjorie Corrow from Hamburg, New York. Marjorie was a vendor at the recent Cobweb Expo and I was really impressed with her rugs, with rug hooked centers and braided borders. I talked with her at length and she has agreed to come to The Basket Sampler to teach classes April 11-13, 2022. Marjorie has been braiding rugs for several decades. Covid-19 Update: May thirty 2020

As I'yard certain you've heard, with the latest executive orders our opening appointment is notwithstanding "to exist determined". Information technology's looking similar mid June at the earliest for classes-now for retail. Hither are some full general rules for reopening as required by the governor's directives. Initially, appointments will be required for both retail sales and all classes. Classes volition be small at the showtime (3-5 people). However, appointments tin always be scheduled for supplies and one on 1 help with weaving. Those are my plans at this point (I'g certain they will change as needed in the upcoming weeks). I may do two days or an afternoon class if there is interest.

We set up the classrooms with social distancing spacing. We accept v individual tables in the handbasket room. Every bit I am more than comfy having more people for classes, at that place is room for 4 more than in the hooking room.
